Revenge and murder in the news
songs that sing us social booze
wives and children live abuse
it's all okay there's an excuse

Striping away our moral creed
freedom wilting like a weed
family values just recede
how can success ever succeed.

Our countries leaders not forthright
as a nation we dont stand tight
the flags not flying with all its might
we bitch and moan but never bite

Clinging to the ways of hate
blind and bleeding we negate
blame it on the church and state
it's not our fault this is our fate.
